Conquer glass! Drill accurately without breaking

Want to drill holes in glass, but always feel daunted, worried that the expensive glass will shatter in an instant? Whether it is installing bathroom accessories, DIY art glass projects, or professional-grade glass door and window construction, drilling holes in glass safely and accurately is a common challenge faced by many engineers, decorators, and DIY enthusiasts.
Ordinary drill bits are simply not up to the task! Glass is hard and brittle. Using the wrong tools or methods can easily cause cracks or even the entire piece to burst, resulting in material waste, construction delays, and even safety hazards.

Why do you need a professional glass drill bit?

Superhard material: The tip of the glass drill bit (usually diamond-coated or carbide) is much harder than glass, which can effectively grind rather than brute force cutting.

Special geometric design: The unique head shape (usually arrow-shaped or flat head) and chip groove design can disperse pressure, reduce heat accumulation, and efficiently discharge debris.
Precision manufacturing: Extremely high requirements for concentricity and cutting edge accuracy ensure that the drilled hole is round and smooth, reducing stress concentration points.
Choose B&T glass drill bits and experience the excellent performance of Malaysian precision manufacturing!
As Malaysia's leading and only professional high-quality drill bit, power tool and accessories manufacturer, B&T Drilling Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. understands the difficulties of glass drilling. We use innovative technology and precision engineering to create a high-performance drill bit series designed to conquer glass, helping you to easily meet the challenges:

Innovative materials and coatings:

The use of high-quality diamond particles or super-hard alloy tips has excellent wear resistance, ensuring that a single drill bit can complete more drilling tasks and is durable.

The special coating process optimizes heat dissipation and chip removal performance, reducing the risk of glass breakage due to overheating during drilling.

Precision engineering, accurate drilling:

The strict production process ensures extremely high concentricity of the drill bit, and the drilling process is stable and does not shake.

Precise cutting edge design ensures smooth penetration into the glass, forming a clean, burr-free hole edge with perfect precision.

Designed for safety:

Optimized geometry effectively disperses drilling pressure and significantly reduces the probability of glass breakage.

Clear operating instructions (coolant/water is recommended) make the drilling process more controllable and safer.

Meet diverse needs:

Covering a variety of sizes: From fine small holes to large apertures for pipe installation needs, B&T offers a wide range of sizes.

Suitable for a wide range of scenarios: Whether it is building curtain walls, bathroom glass, mirrors, art glass, fish tanks, or automotive glass (specific models), you can find the right solution. Service areas include professional engineering, decoration construction, automotive industry and DIY enthusiasts.

Tips for safe drilling:

Always use low speed! High speed is the worst when drilling glass. It is recommended to use an adjustable speed electric drill and set the speed to the lowest gear.

Cooling is essential! Keep using water or special coolant to lubricate and cool the contact surface between the drill bit and the glass to prevent overheating. You can make a puddle of water or wrap it with a wet cloth at the drilling location.

Stable support: Make sure the glass is firmly and flatly supported, preferably with cork or rubber pads underneath.

Gentle pressure: Let the weight and grinding action of the drill bit do the work, and never apply too much pressure. Start drilling at a vertical angle.

Patience is the key: Glass drilling takes time, be patient and avoid impatience.
